Jake came home battered and bruised from his day at the skate park down the road — and more determined than ever to get better at staying on the thing as he moves from the top of the ramp to the bottom of the ramp.
He’s taken his board to a friend’s place in West Bromwich for a couple of days, and Bobbie and I have the place to ourselves. But, as I’ve just learned, there’s a good reason to go to the skate park without him this weekend: The Moseley Beer Festival.
I love the fact that the local councillor got together with the guy who runs the skatepark and made a video that introduces it. Pete Ashton had nice things to say about the idea too.
